Eternals : New Marvel Superheroes

Marvel’s new superheroes have arrived, quite different from the Avengers. Who are these Eternals?

When Marvels announced “Eternals”, people got a little confused, what are these Eternals?
After watching the Eternals movie, it becomes clear that Eternals are quite different from Avengers and quite old. Eternals is a group of immortal beings created by the Celestials (Marvel’s god) so that they could protect the Earth from Deviants (evil, aliens, monsters). Their team Eternals is emotionally, culturally, and power-wise diverse and this is what makes them different from other superheroes.

Those whom humans considered as gods and goddesses were actually Eternals. As soon as we hear the name of Marvel movies, high energy action, witty one-liners and fast-paced plot come to mind. But Eternals are completely different from this formula. What could be the connection between Eternals and Thanos? Is Thanos also an Eternal?
